Pattern for New Born Knitted Charity Hats

All classes and activities will be at the Guild Studio unless otherwise posted.
--Beginning Spinning Class --Sat. Nov 1st & 8th from 9:30 to 11:30am. Sheryl Silberman will teach the mechanics of spinning and spinning different fibers and plying. Fee for the classes are $25.00 which includes materials. Please contact Sheryl if you plan to attend at slhejl@yahoo.com
_ _Beading class--Nov. 11th & 4th Tuesday night from 7 to 9 pm. This class will be taught by Barbara Bradley. The fee is $15.00 which includes needles and a pin for the bag or you can make it as a necklace. Need to will need to bring 1 ball #8 perle cotton (or equivalent size cotton thread. Don't use black unless you have good eyes). Bring size 10 or 11 seed beads (you can get them at Pandora's on Park Ave. down town Idaho Falls). Also Bring a small crochet hook. Any other charms, buttons, larg beads, or other embellishments as desired. For questions call Barb at 523.8160 or email barbbrad@ida.net
--Holiday Open House & Bazaar Dec. 2nd. Come anytime between 7pm to 8:30pm. We hope you'll all come and bring a friend (someone who isn't a member would be great)! This is our open house celebration for our new location at 482 Constitution Way Suite B-11. If you're not a member and you are reading this please come and celebrate our new location with us. Bring a pot luck dish and if you can, bring something to auction at the Bizaar that evening. Funds will be donated to the Guild to keep our doors open!
--Winter Spin-In and Gathering on Saturday, January 24th at 11:30am. This will be at the home of Kathie Phoenix (our weaving coordinator). Bring Pot luck and your wheel or any other hand work you'd like to do.
---Studio Night is every Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 pm. This evening is a great time for non members to come and check out the Guild and meet other members. Members are encouraged to bring a friend who might be interested in any aspect of Fiber Art. Bring some hand work or a spinning wheel and enjoy!
---Market Night is always the 2nd Tuesday of every month during Studio Night. Memeber are invited to bring items to sell that evening. You need to be there to tend your items and accept payments and remember, 5% of total sales are contributed to the Guild.
---Studio Day: Always the 3rd Monday. A repeat of Studio Night but during the day the Studio will be open from 10am to 3pm.
---Rug Hookers will meet at the Studio every 4th Thursday of each month from 6 to 9pm.

The Weaving, Spinning and Fiber Arts Guild of Idaho Falls is a non-profit institution with a mission to promote and better the arts of hand spinning and hand weaving by providing Guild members the means by which current skills are increased while new techniques are investigated
The Guild works to promote fiber arts in the community and surrounding area through demonstrations, workshops, in cooperation with youth and other groups. The Guild sponsors a yearly fiber fair in May, which is open to the public.
